Getting Here on Horseback

A dog hitches a ride

Horseback rides to the Lodge may be available from independent outfitters. Please contact Wild Country Packing and Wallowa Mountain Outfitters. If you are interested in arriving by horseback, we encourage you to make arrangements well in advance.

If you ride your own horse to the Lodge, we have corrals and two large pasture areas for our equine guests. A boarding fee of $35 per night includes a plentiful supply of weed-free hay, or your horse can graze on native meadow grass. You are responsible for feeding and caring for your horse during your stay. We also require that you sign an equine liability waiver. When you arrive at the lodge, go through the main entrance and look for the hitching rails located on the eastside of the Barn.

If you have any questions about the equine accommodations or any other equine information please contact info@minam-lodge.com.
