Getting Here on Horseback

A dog hitches a ride

Horseback rides to the Lodge may be available from independent outfitters. Please ask us about current recommendations. If you are interested in arriving by horseback, we encourage you to make arrangements well in advance.

If you are riding your own horse to the Lodge, we have corrals and a large shared pasture for our equine guests. A boarding fee of $35 per night includes a plentiful supply of weed-free hay, or your horse can graze on native meadow grass. You are responsible for feeding and caring for your horse during your stay. We also require that you sign an equine liability waiver. When you arrive at the lodge, look for the hitching rails located just inside the main entrance.
