Ryan Fox, head chef and owner of award-winning Nomad.PDX in Portland, will visit the Lodge to prepare a special feast on June 15.
A returning star of our guest chef program, Ryan keeps piling up accolades at Nomad.PDX, where his innovative and meticulously prepared 15-course tasting menus have been described as “a delightful sensory explosion.” At age 31, Ryan has been nominated for James Beard Rising Star Chef of the Year and named an Eater Young Gun, among other honors. His elegant modernist hideaway Nomad.PDX was named “Rising Star Restaurant of the Year” in 2015 by food critic Karen Brooks of Portland Monthly.
Prior to founding Nomad.PDX, Ryan honed his craft at Joel Robuchon, which was awarded three Michelin stars, and Portland’s Castagna. He trained at the Culinary Institute of America. Plus he’s an all-around great guy who we love to see out at the Lodge.
This special dinner, the menu for which may not be settled until Ryan visits the Lodge garden that morning, is featured at no additional cost for Lodge guests. Join us and Ryan for a memorable evening at the Lodge!
