The mandolinist/fiddler and guitarist from Foghorn Stringband return to the lodge with precise picking and sweet harmonies the last weekend in July.
Our occasional “Music in the Minam” series continues July 28-29 with Caleb Klauder and Reeb Willms of the acclaimed Foghorn Stringband. Foghorn got its start in the late ‘90s in Portland, and has since spread its old-time gospel all over the world, performing square dance tunes and ballads that meld naturally with Cajun waltzes, honky-tonk and bluegrass tunes. Klauder, originally from Orcas Island, Wash., is known for his rapid-fire mandolin picking while Willms, from eastern Washington farm country, breaks hearts with her wistful vocals.
Music in the Minam is free to Lodge guests who would like to enjoy some live music on the deck in the evenings. Just book a room to join us!
