Adam Campbell, wine maker from nationally acclaimed Elk Cove Vineyards, will visit the lodge for a special winemaker dinner on August 24th.
Elk Cove was founded by Pat and Joe Campbell in 1974, when there were only a handful of winegrowers in Oregon. Pat and Joe have passed the torch on to their children, and Adam Campbell now oversees six vineyard sites with 380 planted acres. That’s over 10 times the total acreage of all Oregon vineyards when Pat and Joe planted their first vine!
The goal of the Campbells has always been to produce hand-crafted, estate-grown, cool-climate wines that rival the best in the world. As a second-generation winemaker and a 5th-generation Oregon farmer, Adam is proud to continue that tradition.
The Campbells have all vacationed in The Wallowas over the years and were among our first guests when the Lodge reopened in 2017. We are excited to welcome the Campbells back, and look forward to offering a five-course special feast by Chef Carl Krause. Book a room to join us! Dinner, including wine pairings, is $100 per person.
